About Me:
Born in South Philadelphia longer ago than I care to admit, I moved to Jersey when I was 12. Still a Philly girl at heart, I know the meaning of “Whiz Witout,” what a “Mummer” is and where to get a good cannoli. I am a freelance writer and count several military units and an ambassador among my clients. A total domestic goddess, I have a take-out menu collection the size of a phone book and I am a magician at hiding clutter when company comes!
About My Family: My husband and I are celebrating our 23rd year together! We have three daughters ages 20, 11 and 7. Jim is a retired senior IT professional with a well-known computer software company, as well as a low vision survivor. My college kid is closing in on her degree in Business Management with an eye towards a law career . My fifth grader is an aspiring actress with the best laugh of anyone on the planet. The seven year old delights in telling knock knock jokes, packing her stuff to go to Disney World (even when we don't have a trip planned!) and she ensures that I don’t get comfortable on the sofa watching television and eating bon-bons. We love to travel and have been to nearly every state in the United States, 8 European countries and the Caribbean.
About My Disney Experience: My husband and I honeymooned at Disney World and have been hooked ever since. Living in Orlando for several years, we visited the theme parks at least three times weekly. As my family’s Disney expert, I have planned vacations for celebrations of every kind and for family members requiring special assistance, like my low vision survivor husband and my wheelchair-bound father. After losing 150 pounds through gastric bypass surgery, I now assist family and friends dining with special dietary needs. We have a family with a big military history, and I've really enjoyed planning special reunion celebrations for the families who have been separated by military commitment.
