About Me:
Since childhood, I have been fascinated by all things Disney, including the parks, movies, books, music and the classic Disney "signature" -- attention to detail. I am a public relations/marketing professional and freelance writer who also manages a bustling household of six and teaches ballet to preschoolers. A past PTO president, I have served on many boards and committees and collectively logged thousands of hours of volunteer service to our local schools, church, sports and arts organizations, political campaigns and community.
When I'm not planning or packing for a Disney vacation, I enjoy reading, Bible studies, traveling, social media and running. One of my favorite pastimes is to find new and interesting running routes while traveling including the decks of Disney cruise ships -- three times around for a mile. Plus, as slow as I am, it's the closest I'll ever come to running on water!
About My Family: My husband and I have four children ranging in age from little ones through teens – three sons and one princess. My husband practices law and coaches or cheers with me on the sidelines of almost every youth sport imaginable – football, baseball, basketball, cross country, lacrosse, tennis, golf, swimming and wrestling. As a family, we also enjoy traveling, playing games in the yard or at our kitchen table, attending sporting events and entertaining in our home. We are such huge sports fans that we named our dog Crimson, which is a nod to our favorite college football team.
All of my children are well traveled and are frequently consulted when I answer Disney guests' questions. From infants to teens, we've experienced the highs and lows of traveling and cruising with children at almost every stage, and I'm ready to call "all hands on deck" when helping you make planning decisions for your Disney cruise or Walt Disney World vacation!
About My Disney Experience: The next best thing to a Disney vacation is planning one, and it brings me joy to share my planning experience. From mapping out the time of year, itinerary and length of cruise to packing the essentials and planning excursions, I want to help make your Disney cruise the vacation you've dreamed of. Youngest to oldest, my entire family delights in the wonder and fantasy of setting sail on a real-life adventure aboard Disney's ships, and we bask in the service and pampering of times together and separately throughout our journey.
For the land lubbers, our family has done it all at Walt Disney World -- parks, restaurants, resorts and activities like DisneyQuest, golf, mini-golf, water parks, Wide World of Sports and Cirque du Soleil. As Disney Vacation Club Members, we've also been to Disney's Vero Beach and visited Disneyland and California Adventure. My best advice is to research and plan every detail but hold plans loosely for those unexpected magical experiences!
