About Me:
I am Scott H. and I was born and raised in North Georgia. I am one of a few Dads on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and I am excited to possibly bring a different perspective from a dad, teacher, and administrator point of view! I am a middle school Assistant Principal and previously taught middle school math for 10 years. While teaching, I also coached track for 10 years and football for 6 years.
About My Family: I have been married for 10 years and have a 3 year old son. My wife and I have been Disney Vacation Club members since 2003 and in that time have visited the Walt Disney World Resort over 25 times and have cruised on Disney Cruise Line 6 times. I love getting to be a big kid when we enter the parks! Being able to let go, have fun, and be a kid regardless of age are some of the greatest things that can be taken from a Disney Vacation. The experiences and memories that I have been able to take from our Disney Vacations have been priceless. Being able to watch our son's reaction to the Disney Wonder horn and getting to watch him ride Test Track and Soarin' for the first time are memories I want to help others experience.
About My Disney Experience: I love showing others why my family is so crazy about Disney. It is also fun for me to be able to experience Disney Vacations with others by helping them with the planning process. I do my best to make their vacation the best it can be by customizing it to the best of my ability. I love learning new things about Disney; being asked a question that I am unsure of motivates me to go learn about that topic and then some! I look forward to sharing what I have learned and experienced to those seeking advice through the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

We usually go to Disney World for Presidents week which is quite crowded. We are losing our President's week vacation in "2013" because of super storm Sandy. We will have to go during Christmas "2013". How much more crowded is it then?

Am coming to WDW Mar 23-29 (very crowded time). If we have dinner reservations in a park that is filled to capacity, will we be able to get to them if we are park-hopping from another resort,or do we need to arrive in the am to ensure access to restaurant?

Hi Moms! I love the panel! Do parks really close because of the crowds during the holidays? What time should we arrive at Magic Kingdom on Dec 31 to guarantee entrance? We have a reservation for Be Our Guest, we don't want to miss it!

I will be in WDW for a wedding on Palm Sunday 2013. Naturally worried about the Spring Break crowds. Can you tell me what you think the crowds/line time will be for March 19-27? I'm going with my 5 and 6 year olds and a bit worried about them in lines!

Hi Maggie!!!
Thank you so much for your question!
You are correct that the Spring Break crowds will be quite large. Besides Christmas and New Year's, Spring Break is the second most busy time of the year at Walt Disney World.
