About Me:
I am a mother, wife, runner, triathlete and Disney fanatic. I write a health and fitness blog and am the author of several books that are focused on making eating healthy fun for kids. I love to teach children about nutrition, history, culture and science through cooking. I am also a communications manager for a Fortune 500 company, editor for a local magazine and health and fitness columnist for several magazines. I love to be involved in my children's education and recreational activities, as I serve on the PTO board for my children's school, am Chairman for the Health and Fitness Committee and am the leader for my daughter's Girl Scout Daisy Troop.
About My Family: I feel extremely blessed, as I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 15 years and have two beautiful children. My son is an avid reader and loves getting lost in a fantasy world, which comes to life at Walt Disney World. My daughter loves princesses, singing, dancing and dining with the princesses at Cinderella's Royal Table. We've been taking our kids to Walt Disney World on their birthdays every year since they were toddlers. We love celebrating our annual traditions at Walt Disney World, as well as discovering something new each time we visit.
About My Disney Experience: Disney holds a special place in my heart. No matter how many times we visit, I feel like a kid again. From my son's first kiss, to my daughter's first roller coaster to my first marathon, Disney has been full of firsts for our family. When my kids grow up, I want their hearts to be filled with loving memories of spending time together at Walt Disney World. My greatest desire is that they not only remember Trick-or-Treating at the Magic Kingdom, playing in the pool at the resort and eating our way around the world at Epcot, but to experience these traditions to their own children. To me, Disney is much more than a vacation destination, it is a magical place where dreams can really come true.

We are interested in eating at the California Grill during our trip in October. If we can't get reservations, and eat at the lounge with the same menu at a first come basis-can we still come back for the fireworks viewing? Has anyone done this?
