About Me:
I'm a mom of two small children and honored to be a part of this year's 2013 Disney Parks Moms Panel. Hailing from the Midwest, I'm typically found scouting our escape from the cold, bitter Chicago winds to our family's Laughing Place, Walt Disney World. Every day presents a new challenge as a high-rise residential Property Manager but I especially enjoy the challenges brought about by family or friends requesting Disney travel advice. I'm a lover of dining out, classic films, documentaries and Chicago's rich history. I'm fond of variety and stepping outside my comfort zone, which suits us perfectly when we travel to the World. From running the Expedition Everest Challenge to enjoying the bold, fusion flavors of Jiko, every trip is a new adventure and planning the details becomes half the fun.
About My Family: My Prince Charming and I met on our summer jobs at a country club, where a legendary Major League baseball player suggested, "we get married." It was love at first sight and after an engagement at the very same tee box, we are celebrating 10 years of marriage. He's an avid golfer and sports fanatic who always sets aside time for the challenging Walt Disney World golf courses. Our inquisitive 8-year-old son loves reading, baseball, dinosaurs and of course, video games. Our spirited 6-year-old daughter loves Disney princesses, singing, dancing and baking. With a family motto of, "work hard, play hard," we cherish our Disney time, absent daily distractions, to reconnect and appreciate our blessings.
About My Disney Experience: My first trip included participating in Magic Music Days which fostered my adoration for Walt Disney. Having experienced merely a glimpse of entertaining Walt Disney World guests, I was drawn to the auditions held in my area for the Walt Disney World College Program Entertainment Department, and was chosen as a Magic Kingdom parade Cast Member during the Millennium Celebration. Over the years, I've helped countless friends and family members plan their Walt Disney World vacations, from full itineraries to last minute touches. I've traveled solo, with small children, and in Grand Gatherings. We've dined with special dietary needs at over 70 locations around property, have enjoyed all levels of resort accommodations, and even embarked on runDisney races. With my experience as a prior Cast Member and current traveler, I can't wait to help you plan a magical trip tailored to your needs and expectations!
