About Me:
I am a city girl with a lifelong love and passion for all things Disney. In the past I worked in the recruiting department of a major IT firm, and as a full time school teacher. I now enjoy substitute teaching, volunteer work and spending time with my family. My experiences studying and teaching in Europe helped to feed my desire for travel and adventure. I take my cue from Ellie Fredericksen from the movie "Up" - "Adventure is out there!" One adventure I've always dreamed of is to be part of the Walt Disney World family; that is one constant which has never changed. I have wonderful memories from every stage of my life in Walt Disney World. I am thrilled to be a member of the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It truly IS a dream come true.
About My Family: I am so lucky to have met and married my own Prince Charming. We have three amazing Mouseketeers, ages 8, 10 and 11. Our oldest and youngest are hearing impaired. They continually amaze us with their positive outlook and adaptability. Our middle child is another source of unending pride. We also have two dogs who keep us endlessly entertained; a Boxer named Dash (think "Incredibles") and a rescued French Bulldog. We treasure family time during our frequent Disney vacations. Since we are Disney Vacation Club members, we treat Walt Disney World as our second home. When we're not at Walt Disney World, you can find some or all of us skiing, golfing, acting, rollerblading, or doing gymnastics, volleyball and karate!
About My Disney Experience: Wow! Where do I begin? I have a lifetime of memories at Walt Disney World. My children each took their first trips to Disney World at 6 months of age and they haven't stopped since. Not only do I plan all of our Disney vacations, but I enjoy searching for different experiences every single time...even after all these years! From our planned vow renewal at the Polynesian Resort Hotel to the very-unplanned lost tooth walking to the monorail, our experiences are always exciting! In addition to Walt Disney World, I've been to Disneyland California, Disneyland Paris and on Disney Cruise Line. Nothing makes me happier than to help others plan their Disney vacations. It's something I have the pleasure of doing on a regular basis. My planning advice was even part of the live auction at our school fundraiser! I look forward to being a Moms Panelist and helping others have at least as many amazing experiences as I have had at the Walt Disney World Resort.

We are taking our first trip to Disney and going during the Halloween party. We found a nice resort outside of Disney, but I'm wondering is it worth the money to stay in Disney and get the free dinning option for $600ish more dollars?
Thanks

Our second trip to WDW is coming up soon - June '13. We will be at the Wilderness Lodge and was hoping on getting some suggestions/advise on room choice and when to ask. I have a 8 and 4 year old and wish to be close to the lobby but away from the noise.

Hi, I'm going June 26. What are the most important events that day, since we're thinking about skipping the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade, and is there anything else that day you think we can skip? Also, will the lines be shorter during the event(s)?
