About Me:
I am a stay-at-home mom who has enjoyed watching my son grow from an under three pound preemie to a healthy and intelligent 11 year old. I volunteer as Room Mom at our elementary school. I used my B.A. in Legal Studies as a paralegal before becoming a full-time mom. I enjoy reading, writing, traveling, ice skating and planning vacations. I love to share the magic of Disney by helping families plan their vacations. I'm honored to be an inaugural WDW Moms panelist and hope to continue to share my love of Disney with all of you!
About My Family: My husband and I have been married for 20 years. We shared our love for Disney by renewing our vows at Walt Disney World for our 10-year anniversary. Riding in Cinderella’s Coach was a dream come true. My husband is always reading books about Walt Disney. Another dream come true was taking our son, who was born prematurely, to Walt Disney World for the first time when he was two years old – something we thought we might not get the chance to do. Today, he is an excellent student who loves to read and build Legos. He shares my passion for the parks and resorts. His favorite attractions are Space Mountain and Expedition Everest. While he's now into thrill rides, I cherish the memories of our flights on Dumbo! My family loves to sail on the Disney Cruise Line too! Our last cruise was a ten-night voyage aboard the Disney Magic in the Mediterranean. It was my dream vacation! In 2013, we're looking forward to sailing on the Disney Dream as well as accompanying our son's band to WDW!
About My Disney Experience: My love of Walt Disney World began at the age of 11 and continued through trips as a teen and young adult. My husband and I are both fans of WDW, where we honeymooned at the Grand Floridian. We have taken vacations to Disneyland, love sailing aboard the Disney Cruise Line, and have vacationed at the Disney Resort on Hilton Head Island. My quest is to stay at all of the WDW resorts. I hope to inspire families to plan a Walt Disney World trip that is budget-friendly as well as a dream vacation.
