About Me:
I am a Georgia native, born and raised in metro Atlanta. I left for only four years to earn my BA in Speech Communications from Auburn University. I have worked as a journalist, PR account executive and a marketing director for several large clients. I’m now a stay-at-home mom and freelance writer / marketing director. Those who know me laugh when I say “stay-at-home,” because I am so rarely at home. I am extremely involved in my children’s school and several community organizations. I enjoy watching my three girls dance, love a good book, resting at the beach and having fun in Disney World. I also love helping others plan their Disney vacations and then hearing every detail upon their return home.
About My Family: My husband and I have been married for 17 years and are the parents of three wonderful daughters. It can easily be said that my house is filled with princesses. With ages ranging from 5 to 13, there is never a dull moment. All three girls dance and their dad has seen more dance recitals and productions than he ever dreamed of, I am sure. We love spending time together, and without a doubt, many of our favorite memories involve Disney. I smile when I recall each of my girls standing on their tiptoes to reach the required height for a certain ride and those first hugs with their favorite Disney characters.
About My Disney Experience: We have visited Disney World every year since my 13 year old was 2 and have stayed in resorts ranging from value to deluxe. Each trip was more magical than the last. I will never forget our first trip to the Magic Kingdom, walking through the park as my then six month old was sleeping in the stroller. The Fairy Godmother asked if I minded if she pushed the carriage for awhile and held the hand of my oldest. She stayed with us for quite some time, and we all love to look at the photo of her with the girls. Even though two are older, all three can’t imagine a trip without dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table and getting that special hug from the Fairy Godmother. It just doesn’t get any more magical than Disney World!

We'd like to take our 2 1/2 year old daughter to WDW in early Feb. Is it too late to start planning? If not, where do I begin? It seems very overwhelming! I'm worried about missing something because I didn't know about it. Any advice would be appreciated!

Absolutely it is not to late to start planning a WDW vacation for February. The first thing you need to do, once you decide on your dates, is to choose your resort. Take a look at your budget, would value, moderate or deluxe be the best resort for... read more

Hello. Have ADR at 'Ohana at the Poly on March 9. Will finish about 10 pm. What do you recommend for travelling back to Coronado Springs at that time? Is there somewhere to view bus route info ahead of time? Thank you.
- Asked by shirley on 11/10/2009
Hey Shirley! What you will want to do is take the Monorail to MK or the transportation center. From here you will then take a WDW bus back to CS.
When you check into your resort, you will be given a map of CS. The CM will also tell you which bus... read more

We are going in March 2010 with our Son and Daugher-in-law and 2 grandson's 5 and 3 years. We are trying to decide if we should get the parkhopper for all 3 days or take the $ and stay an extra day at the resort for a "chill "day during our stay
- Asked by Cindy from GA on 11/10/2009
Hey Cindy! Going for three days I honestly think you would be fine without the hopper option. I always recommend the hopper pass if you are going more than three days, but anywhere from 1 to 3 you should be fine without it.
And what a great idea... read more

Love this panel. We are going to Hollywood Studios on Thanksgiving. Traveling with a 13 and 3 yr old. What's the best way to enjoy Osborne of lights and then Fantasmic, we couldn't get Fantasmic dinner package ?

Hey Manisha! First of all Happy Thanksgiving, and I hope you have a great trip to WDW.
My suggestion would be to be in the general vicinity of the Osborne Lights as soon as they come on. Walk through those before it gets really crowded and then... read more

I just made reservations for 6/5/10-6/12/10. I'm a little concerned about the crowds. Last year we were there May 9-16 and I thought it was quite crowded then. This is the only time that we can go this year. Any thoughts or suggestion
- Asked by Amy from PA on 10/26/2009
Hey Amy! I was actually there this year during that exact same time and I was pleasantly surprised that the crowds were truly not that bad. In the South, we get out of school at the end of May, but most of the northern schools are still in session... read more
