About Me:
I am a stay-at-home grandmother and enjoy keeping busy with my hobbies and volunteering in my community. I grew up in northern Wisconsin and have lived in southern Indiana, Connecticut, Florida, and Texas before landing here in Valparaiso, Indiana. I received my Bachelor of Education degree from University of Miami, FL and taught elementary education for 12 years. I am a sports fanatic who loves to travel. I enjoy making scrapbooks for friends and family, documenting their memorable experiences. I especially enjoy sharing my love for Disney World by helping others plan their own trips to the place where dreams come true.
About My Family: My husband and I met in high school and have been married for 33 years. We have two wonderful married children and two beautiful grandsons. Spending time with them is the highlight of our lives. Although they do not live close by, we make time together a priority. At least once a year we meet at Walt Disney World. I love looking back at photos from visits when our own children were small. Now, we are living them all over again – this time through the eyes of our grandchildren. The magic of Disney hasn't changed for us and never will.
About My Disney Experience: An Adventure By Disney trip to Italy has now been added to my many wonderful Disney experiences. It is the ultimate way to travel to historical and exotic places around the world. Being able to enjoy a vacation and not worry about lodging, dining, and transportation makes these trips literally stress free. It is like traveling with your own concierge who knows the language, can get the best guides for excursions, and can provide priority seating at events. There are numerous U.S. and International choices for your next adventure and I can't wait to head out again this year with an Adventure By Disney trip for my family. I continue to be fortunate to visit Walt Disney World several times each year. I love to plan vacations for family and friends and have helped with weddings, engagements, business groups and reunions over the years. Disney is the destination to celebrate absolutely anything for any age and on any budget!

Signed up to run the royal family 5K in march. I will stay only one night - solo traveler. Which resort of these 3 do you recommend and why? Port Orleans, Saratoga Springs, or Old Key West. Trying to decide among the three. Is one more quiet? Thanks.
- Asked by Julie from OH on 1/23/2010
Hi Julie! You have great choices and there won't be a huge difference between these three resorts. Old Key West is the oldest and yet it remains many guests absolute favorite. Port Orleans French Quarter is smaller then Riverside and many like... read more

We are getting to All Stars at 6 and have a reservation at 8 for Chef Mickey's. We will have a car. Should we drive or take a shuttle? If we drive, how long will it take and how do we get there. If the shuttle is best, how long and what route? Thanks!
- Asked by Danielle from PA on 1/23/2010
Danielle, since you will have a car I would most definitely use that as your transportation for your first night. The drive itself should only take about 15 minutes. If you use the Disney transportation it will take at least 40 minutes. Your... read more

Hi Another question for you. We are interested in renting the sea racers from the Poly. Not sure which day yet. Are they booked up in advance or is it booked on a daily basis? Thank you Debbie
- Asked by Debbie from PA on 2/3/2010
The Sea Raycers are a great way to unwind from spending days in the parks! They cannot be reserved at the resorts so it is a first come deal. Unless it is in the midst of a hot month at Walt Disney World we have never had to wait for one to... read more
