About Me: A self-proclaimed “Disney Nerd” with a penchant for research and a passion for all things Disney, I am currently a stay-at-home mom to my two sons and daughter. I’m able to use my experience as a former Kindergarten teacher on a daily basis! I also am a private reading tutor and the Web Developer for a local teacher’s organization. During my rare moments of spare time, I enjoy gardening, home improvement projects, and digital scrapbooking.

About My Family: I have been married to my high school sweetheart for twelve years. He is a Systems Engineer for a major computer manufacturer. Together we have two sons and a daughter who already have a great love for all things Disney, and enjoyed their first trips to Walt Disney World at three months, seven weeks, and four months old.

About My Disney Experience: In our circle of family and friends, I am known as the “Disney Expert” – the number one source for answers to random questions about rides, transportation, dining and more! Over the past ten years, I’ve helped countless people plan vacations – everything from family trips to honeymoons – complete with detailed vacation plans featuring customized itinerary/calendars, ride and park descriptions and tips on where to view the fireworks and parades. Each time I help a friend, I feel the same excitement that comes from planning my own vacations … I just LOVE sharing the magic!

Question We are going to WDW in 21 days!! This will be our 10th trip, so you think of ourselves as old pros. As we pack, we were thinking about leaving your cameras at home since they have Disney Photographers. What do you think? Our kids are 23, 23, & 20.

- Asked by Jessica from TX on 5/18/2013
Answer Hi Jessica! I think that you'd probably be able to survive without your cameras.  There are a few caveats, though...if any of you are traveling with smartphones that have great cameras, you'll be able to use those to get those candid... read more

Question Hi, again! Is it possible to go back into HS after Fantasmic to see the Osbourne Lights? Last time we were there, we left immediately after the show. (Assuming that there are 9-8:00 park hours and Fantasmic is showing at 6:30.) We REALLY want to see both!

- Asked by MeLissa from PA on 5/18/2013
Answer Hi Melissa! Yes, you can re-enter the park (assuming it is still open).  Even if you don't have a park hopper option you can re-enter the same park on the same day.  When they're guiding you out at the end of the... read more

- Asked by Michele on 5/18/2013
Answer Hi Michele! Sounds like you've got some wonderful activities planned for your arrival day!  In the past, the fireworks for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party have been scheduled for 9:30 pm.  The Electrical Water Pageant should be at... read more

Question We will be going to Walt Disney World the first of June. Can you tell me if the cast members on the boat, bus, and monorails still pass out transportation cards?

- Asked by Tina on 5/18/2013
Answer Hi Tina! I know they were doing it back in 2011!  The Transportation Cards are great fun, and quite the little secret!  I haven't heard that they've phased the program out.  Your best bet is to ask the... read more

Question We are traveling with a toddler to DW in Sept., I know they have strollers for rent...what are the fees? Are these umbrella strollers or larger ones?

- Asked by F on 5/18/2013
Answer Hi F!  Stroller rentals at Walt Disney World are so convenient!  They most closely resemble a  jogging type stroller with a molded plastic seat.  Rentals are $15 a day for a single, and $31 a day for a double.  Disney does... read more
