About Me:
My name is Bernie and I am a communications systems engineer with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Before coming to NASA I served in the United States Air Force. I was born in Taiwan and have lived in Japan, Germany, California, Florida, Ohio, Maryland, and New York. I have traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe but without a doubt, my favorite place on Earth is Walt Disney World. When not lending a hand to help family and friends plan their Disney vacations, I enjoy spending time with my family. I also volunteer at my sons’ school and with scouting.
About My Family: I am the proud father of two awesome boys who love to travel and explore, ages 9 and 13. My beautiful wife, Laura, enjoys volunteering at our children's school and at our church. Laura and I have been married for 19 years, and we have managed to take one or two family trips each year to Walt Disney World or Disneyland. Some of our best family memories have happened when we were at a Disney Park or sailing aboard the Disney Cruise Line. Seeing the magic of Disney through our kids’ eyes has given us a tremendous amount of joy over the years.
About My Disney Experience: I have visited Walt Disney World more than 100 times and have also visited Disneyland more than 100 times as well. Most of those visits have been solo trips for only a day or even a few hours, but I've also done romantic trips with just my wife, family trips with my children, trips with extended family, and multi-family trips to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, and plenty of holidays. My family and I have visited, if not stayed, in every Walt Disney World and Disneyland hotel and we have dined in almost every Disney restaurant on both coasts. We have also sailed with the Disney Cruise Line. My favorite Disney resort worldwide is the Wilderness Lodge at Walt Disney World, because I love the theme and its location; arriving at the Magic Kingdom early in the morning or at night via a small boat from the Lodge is also a magical experience. At home, I'm known as the “Disney Guy” and I have helped many people plan their trips.

Booked all res for my Aug trip, 7 days on the DDP. Is it overkill that I booked one character meal per day? I have 5 y/o boy/girl twins. Is this too much character time?
