About Me:  Greetings! My name is Heather. I live in a tiny rural town in the heart of Georgia. I spend most days scrubbing the toilet, or maybe finding a dirty plate or two tossed under a bed. My afternoons are generally filled with carpool duties, soccer, baseball or swim practice. I volunteer in our small town at the local school and for other community events.

About My Family: I have entered into the teenage years with two of my kids, preteen with one and have two ‘tweens. Yes, that computes to five wonderful children. Many days, I don’t know if I’m coming or going, as their lives tend to move in so many directions. One day they are in love, and the next, I am picking up the pieces of their broken hearts. All of my children play an instrument, either violin, piano or flute to varying degrees of skill. I have discovered that drawing pictures on one’s arm is cool. My ability to buy clothes is no longer fashionable. I know nothing and they are the experts, so they believe. However, Disney World is one place we all agree is a place where time stops, where laughter is first and all the pains and sorrows melt away.

About My Disney Experience: I have visited Walt Disney World numerous times over the years. I have been there with the kids and without. I have discovered how overwhelming it can be planning a Disney vacation. I find ways to save money on our vacations, the best place to take pictures during the SpectroMagic parade in the Magic Kingdom and the best location to buy Mickey ears and have them monogrammed. My best accomplishment has been getting my family to Walt Disney World on a shoestring budget.

Question We are planning on visiting WDW for 3 days in November, 2009 and then again for 5 days in September, 2010. What would be the best ticket option for us? Was looking at Annual Passes, but didn't know if that was most cost effective?

- Asked by Kris from GA on 11/9/2009

Answer I would personally compare the price of a 8 or 9 day Hopper ticket adding the no expiration option to the cost of the Annual Pass.  I also would recommend checking with your corporation and your local AAA or travel agent to see if they may have... read more
