I just googled "untold secrets of Disney" and couldn't find a book with that name. (Of course, my googling skills may not be that great!) But after a search through Amazon I found, "The Hidden Magic of Disney" by Susan Veness. It looks interesting. Alas, I've never read it.
I have "The Complete Walt Disney World" by Julie Neal and I LOVE it! In fact, my 2 and 5 year old love it! They like to read it as much as I do!
It has so much information--details on every attraction, guest services, dining and more! There's a list of every character that appears for meet-and-greets, a list of scary moments in EVERY attraction and even a section on ideas to get ready for your vacation. It is SO informative!
If I were you, the first thing I'd do is go to the library and check out any and all Disney Guide books. Even the ones for kids! (My kids have one of those, too!) Then go sit at your closest big bookstore and just look through all the Disney guide books until you find the one you want!
Of course, if you're just wanting specific info, could I suggest The Disney World Moms Panel?! Those ladies are full of great answers! ;)
Seriously, there are tons of great unofficial websites to help you plan your vacation: allears.net, disneyfoodblog.com and more!
Hope that helps!
