We are planning our trip to WDW for my son's 6th birthday with lunch in Norway to celebrate. I ordered him a balloon with his name on it, can I drop the balloon and present off at the restaurant earlier in the day and have it waiting at our table for him?

My son will turn 10 during our trip to Disney World. Do we have to buy him the adult ticket or can we buy the child and how will that work with the dinning plan? He does not eat a ton so he would do better on the child's plan.
