Question What parts of the new Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom will be open by May 17 and 18? Also, when will the new Be Our Guest restaurant open?

- Asked by Diana from IL on 4/6/2012
Answer Hi Diana,

Disney is constantly tinkering with plans, but currently the only part of the new Fantasyland scheduled to be opened this spring is part of the Storybook Circus. This includes the new Dumbo, the Great Goofini (a rethemed Goofy's Barnstormer), and the rebuilt stop for the WDW Railroad.

There has been no date announced for the Be Our Guest restaurant opening. Other parts of Fantasyland are supposed to open in waves from fall 2012 to sometime in 2014, but there has been no public announcement about which attractions will be in which wave.

One thing we do know if that the Snow White's Scary Adventures attraction will have its last day on May 31. 2012 to make way for a new princess meet-and-greet area that will be built in that location. You should be sure to get in a last ride or two during your visit.

Enjoy the Storybook Circus!
