Hi there, Meredith!
Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms
Panel! It sounds like your family is going to have an amazing surprise
this Christmas! You must be so excited!
Christmastime is one of
my very favorite times of the year to visit the Walt Disney World
Resort! The Theme Parks and Resorts are all dressed up in their holiday
best. The holiday decorations are absolutely phenomenal! Some of my
family's favorite must-do activities include:
1) Visit the The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights
at Disney's Hollywood Studios!
Take the Resort monorail from Magic Kingdom Park and get off at each of
the 3 Resorts to look at their gorgeous Christmas trees and
decorations. Don't miss the life-sized Gingerbread House at Disney's
Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or the the giant Gingerbread Christmas
Tree at Disney's Contemporary Resort!
3) Stop by Magic Kingdom Park to have a visit with Santa Clause and to view Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade!
Take your time. There is so much to see and do at Walt Disney World and
it's fun to take your time and savor each thing. Grab a hot Starbucks
beverage on Main Street, U.S.A. and just take in all the sights.
Check out the online calendar for New Year's Eve
and see what is listed there for each Park. It will also be very important for you to pick up a Times Guide
at each Park because they will have detailed information on anything
special taking place each day, and especially for New Year's Eve!
I hope this helps, Meredith! Please don't hesitate to let us know if we can help with any other questions you have!
Wishing you a Pixie Dusted vacation!
