I'm taking my daughters ages 9 and 11 to Disney for the first time next week and bought 6 days MYW tix. Can you give me tips to make it easier (since I'm by myself), where to eat, see fireworks, special things to see and do, etc.?? Thanks in advance!!!

The most important thing is to make a list of the most important attractions and shows to each of you. It is crowded at this time of he year so be sure to pick a handful of your "must-do's" at each park and start with those. Utilize the Disney FastPass system as much as possible to help minimize wait times on the most popular attractions.
Disney offers counter service locations (think "fast food") and table service (sit down with wait staff). The table service locations take advance dining reservations and the most popular location fill up fast. I would call 407-939-3463 now to see what reservations you can still obtain. We love dining at Crystal Palace (character dining), LeCellier (steakhouse), Coral Reef (seafood), Liberty Tree Tavern (colonial setting with American faire) and Jiko (American cuisine with African flair). I suggest taking a peek at allears.net under dining and peek at some of the menus and descriptions to make a list of your favorites based on your family's dining tastes.
I would suggest trying to make the parades and fireworks shows as they are all fantastic. The best view of WIshes is near Cinderella Castle on Main Street but it gets quite crowded there, Our favorite spot is in the back of the castle across from the Winnie the Pooh ride, great view and less crowded. We love watching the parade in Frontierland around Peco Bill's as it seems a little roomier and less congested. Our favorite Illuminations spot is on the bridge in between England and France. When at Hollywood STudios we like to watch the parade near the American Idol attraction. Remember the best spots fill up fast so it is a great idea to grab your spot early and take turns camping out while the other family members grab a snack or wander.
Most importantly, remember to slow down and enjoy every minute. There is no way to get everything done, so be sure to enjoy the time you do have. Have a magical time!
