Hey! We're planning a March, 2014 visit to Disney World. I have an 8yr old and a 3yr old. How much is there to do at all the parks for a 3yr old? I know my 8yr old can do almost everything. I'm just worried about what my 3yr old can do. Thanks!

The great thing about Walt Disney World is that there is literally something for everyone of any age and yes, there is plenty of things for your 3 year old to do. In fact, most attractions at Walt Disney World are designed for the entire family to enjoy and not for just certain age groups. One of your best tools for planning your upcoming vacation is Walt Disney World's website. You can actually view attractions, shows and entertainment by age interest, thrill level and several other criteria that will make planning your trip a snap. Beyond the attraction, each park has shows, parades, character meet-and greets that will definitely thrill your three year old. I would start introducing them to any character they might encounter before your trip so they will be familiar before the your vacation arrives.
Another wonderful service that Walt Disney World offers is Disney's Rider Switch service, this allows parents to experience attractions with an older child while one parent waits with those that aren't quite ready for the experience yet. Once the first adult experiences the attraction, the second adult can then proceed with their child through typically through the FastPass entrance. Just speak to a cast member outside of an attractions entrance to see if Rider Switch is offered for a particular attraction. In the mean time be sure to check out this great video done by one of our Disney Parks Moms Panelist to show you how valuable this service can be on your upcoming vacation.
I hope this was helpful and you know where to find me if you need any further help planning your upcoming trip!
