How many fastpass+ can you schedule with a 4-day park hopper and more ticket? Are you only able to book 3 fastpasses per day that includes your parade viewing, character experiences, quick service resturant, and rides? Or is it 3 of each type?

Hi Katie! At this time you will be able to reserve three fastpasses each day for one park only. The fastpass choices include all of the attractions, character meet and greets, and entertainment such as parades and fireworks so it makes decisions a bit hard.
I just went over it all with my son as they will be visiting in March and it can be difficult deciding what you want to use a fastpass for so here are some of the suggestions I gave him.
First of all everyone in your family does not have to have the same fastpasses for each attraction. If you have some thrill seekers then they can reserve things such as Rock N Roller Coaster or Space Mountain while the others reserve something calmer like the Muppet Vision or Peter Pan. Generally you can work it so you are all doing something fun at the same time period with your fastpasses.
I would not use one for the parades as you can find spots to watch as guests have always done in the past. If you have a need for seeing characters then I would choose one day in one park to use a fastpass for this and not use them up in all parks. Epcot has a great character meet and greet where you can see most of the fabulous five right in one spot versus standing in many lines to see each in other parks. Epcot World Showcase is also a super spot to find characters without the long lines.
Since you have a park hopper ticket I suggest you book your fastpasses for a park later in the day so you can head to another park when it opens. That will give you the best shot at shorter lines since you can't have fastpasses in two parks on the same day. The new system does make park hopping a little more difficult in being able to see and do all you had hoped but with planning it will work fine.
Figure your daily plan then make some dining reservations on your own or decide which quick service spots look good and note them for your daily plans. Have a great time on your Disney vacation!
