Bret. Family of six. Kids 6,9,10,10. At disney 5 full days 6/27-7/1. Overwhelmed with info. Could you suggest an itinerary and include don't miss rides, events, shows.

Thanks for the fun question. I love planning trips!! Let’s get started!
Abbreviations: Magic Kingdom (MK), Animal Kingdom (AK), Hollywood Studios, (HS) Epcot (EP), and Extra Magic Hours - morning (EMH-M) – evening (EMH-E)
Worth noting each day:
6/26 (FYI): AK: EMH-M (note: No EMH-E)
6/27: EP: EMH-M; MK: EMH-E Fantasmic! 9 & 10:30
6/28: HS: EMH-M; AK: EMH-E
6/29: MK: EMH-M; EP: EMH-E and Fantasmic! 9 & 10:30
6/30: AK: EMH-M; HS: EMH-E
7/1: MK: EMH-M; EP: EMH-E and Fantasmic! 9
Based on this information, I’d recommend the itinerary below. Please note that I’m avoiding the crowds of EMH parks, which also gives you an extra hour of sleep! Also note: HS is often more crowded on days with Fantasmic! I’ll include a few “don’t miss” attractions in parenthesis – Can’t mention all due to space limits here.
6/27: HS (Toy Story Mania, Rock N Roller coaster, Tower of Terror, Animation Academy). Note: park will get more crowded in late afternoon.
6/28: MK (Dumbo, Peter Pan, All three “mountains”, Carousel of Progress, Electric Parade, Nightastic)
6/29: AK (Expedition Everest, Safari, Lion King, Nemo musical) then “park-hop” to HS to see Fantasmic (try to see the 9 pm show, so you aren’t out too late)
6/30: Epcot (Sum of all thrills, Soarin’, Test Track, O Canada!, Kim Possible WS Adventure, Illuminations)
7/1: Let the kids pick their favorite park to end the trip (note: Animal Kingdom will likely be the least crowded)
Another alternative would be to take 6/29 mostly as a rest day (sleep in, go to the pool, leisure visit to a park), but end it with Fantasmic!, and then plan to visit AK on 7/1.
Hope that provides you with a good start!
