With the new FP+, is WDW still allowing one parent to get on the ride with a FP+ but only requiring a" rider swap ticket" for the second parent to ride? Trying to understand this new system:) Thanks!

Disney's new FastPass+ is an exciting way for you to plan your day at the parks even before you leave home! Disney's FastPass+ is a separate service from Disney's Rider Switch Service
, also known as child or baby swap. Disney's Rider Switch has been a miracle on many of my family's vacations, allowing both my husband and I to experience attractions while one of us waits with the little ones.
To take advantage of Rider Switch Service, just let a Cast Member know at the attraction's entrance that you would like a Rider Switch Ticket. The first half of your party will proceed in the regular line, while the second half of your party waits. Once the first party has experienced the attraction, your remaining party will then proceed to the FastPass line with your Rider Switch Ticket. Remember, that each Rider Switch Ticket will accommodate up to three guests.
With Disney's FastPass+, guests can select times for their favorite attractions, shows, parades and other experiences before you leave home or right at Walt Disney World. This incredible new technology will allow you to virtually hold your place in line, leaving you free to enjoy other areas of the park. Make sure to download My Disney Experience app to your smartphone, this incredibly useful app will let you keep all of your vacation plans, reservations and FastPass+ times right in the palm of your hand.
I hope this helps, Connie and please visit me again if you have anymore questions.
