Can a paraplegic that is 'confined' to a manual wheelchair go on an ABD? I realize accessibility is limited in many countries, I have traveled to Fiji, Honduras and the Caymans for extended stays and made do. Primarily lodging/transportation for Norway.

Hello Lynette! The new Norway Family Vacation with Adventures by Disney
does look very interesting, doesn't it? I've checked their website for the posted policy for guests with disabilities and this is what is says:
Certain activities on select itineraries will present challenges that may or may not be suitable for guests with disabilities or special needs. Many adventures involve considerable walking, and depending on the destination, may include walking on uneven sidewalks and streets, narrow passages, and steep stairs and inclines. Adventures by Disney strongly recommends that guests requiring assistance be accompanied by a companion, who is capable of, and totally responsible for, providing assistance. Neither Adventures by Disney nor our suppliers may physically lift or assist guests onto transportation vehicles or otherwise. Please contact a Vacationista to discuss your specific needs.
Since this doesn't specifically address guests in wheelchairs and how they may be accommodated, I would highly suggest you call 800-542-0865, and speak with a Vacationista who will be able to give you more detailed and specific information.
Thank you for your question Lynette, and I truly hope it works out for you! Have a magical day!
