I am bringing my Two children to DW in july of 2013 and I am very nervous about this because my eldest daughter has Cystic Fibrosis and that brings chronic disabilities and has lung issues can you give me advice on making this trip easier. Thank you

Hi Terri. I'm so glad you've decided to visit us here at the Moms Panel! I have personal experience traveling to Disney with family members that have special needs and want to reassure you that your vacation is more than doable!
If you're staying onsite at a Disney resort hotel, be sure to mention at the time of your booking and again at check-in that your daughter has airway concerns that will medically
require her to be nearer to an elevator, ground transportation, the lobby, etc. This will help to ensure a guest room location that meets her special needs.
Next, you'll want to peruse this official online guide for Guests with Disabilities
which will help you understand the many ways cast members can ensure your eldest princess has a magical time during your July trip. If, for example, there are issues with her ability to stand in queue lines for attractions then you'll want to review the section on Guest Assistance Cards (GAC). Fellow Moms Panelist Susan recently provided a wonderfully detailed answer on the GAC that you can read here
Wishing your entire family a pixie-dusted visit to Mickey Mouse and Pals this summer! Please feel free to send more questions my way prior to your trip!
