How can I get a fast pass?
- Asked by Jorge from MD on 12/9/2013
Hi Jorge! Well it used to be a simple answer to your question but now things have changed and it all depends on your vacation plans as to how you will go about getting a fastpass for an attraction.
If you are a resort guest you will have the opportunity to pre-reserve up to three fastpasses per day for one park. You will need to open your My Disney Experience account and link your reservation and tickets which will then enable you to reserve the fastpasses up to 60 days in advance of your arrival. If you choose not to want to pre-reserve you can do this when you arrive by asking your resort concierge for assistance or head to any park and stop at Guest Relations or one of the many kiosks located in the parks.
If you will not be a resort guest at this time you can still get the legacy paper fastpasses at the attractions by using your park ticket. These will be only available on the day you visit the parks and the same rules will apply to both....one fastpass per hour at a time and they can't overlap. Eventually the fastpass machines for the paper ones will disappear and you will then stop by the kiosks to set up your day of fastpasses.
So you can see, it will just depend if you are a resort guest or a day guest and if you are planning a trip shortly or down the road. Keep in touch with the panel and we can assist you as your date gets closer!
