My daughter and I are going on the 4-night bahama cruise in April. Can you recommend a great port adventure that is not water related? I really want to tour Nassau but it would be cool to see Atlantis. What do you recommend??

Congratulations on your upcoming Disney Cruise next spring to the Bahamas! Nassau is a great port of call, and there is much to do within walking distance of the ship or only a short taxi ride away.
You can be of the first off the ship and stroll down Bay Street to take in some historical sights and shopping and have lunch in one of the many restaurants there. At the end of the street, is the Straw Market which accepts American cash. My kids love to bargain with the shop keepers!
To tour Paradise Island and see some unique aspects of the Nassau area, go to the Port Adventures Page on DisneyCruise.com
and click on "Nassau" and "Sightseeing/Flightseeing Adventures" from the left side of the page. About 9 different excursions will pop up, and you can choose the one or two that are right for you and your daughter. I recommend either the See and Sea Island Tour
or the Discover Atlantis
Thanks for visiting me here on the Disney Moms Panel, and I hope you have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
