I have a son with severe allergies to peanuts, nuts, beans and peas. Since he would have serious reactions to any cross-contaminated foods, how can I find out if the foods at the restaurants are safe for him?

If we are paying for meals for our kids (12 & 10) who are still petite and not big eaters, can we order kids meals for them or do they really restrict them to 3-9 y.o. Thanks!

The answer is slightly more complicated if you're on the dining plan, but if you're paying out of pocket for your meals, then anyone can order anything regardless of their age. My 11-year-old daughter now orders about half the time from the kids... read more
