I am visiting in August with my 2 sons (4 and 9) One of my sons has Autism so I will be getting a GAC because he is unable to wait for long periods of time. Will I also need to use the fastpass system or will the GAC be consider a fastpass.

Having the Guest Assistance Card (GAC) will be sufficient, you will not need to get Fastpasses. At most of the attractions, you will go to the Fastpass line to show your GAC (or the wheelchair accessible line if available if you have a wheelchair in your group), so make sure that you give the number of guests who will be with you in your party when you request the GAC at the Guest Relations at any of the Disney Theme Parks and they will mark it for that amount of guests. The cast members will check this so you want to make sure that everyone in your party can get on the same attraction at the same time. Have fun!
