Regarding "child swap", what are the official rules? I saw a Disney World tips show recently and it stated that if you do a child swap, the second parent can go on the ride with 3 additioanl companions. Is this true?

The show was almost right. The child swap pass is good for up to three people. So, the second parent could take two additional companions on the ride with him or her. This is actually a very nice perk for an older sibling of an infant. It is possible in this situation that big brother or sis could ride with Mom, while Dad watches the baby, and then again with Dad while Mom watches the baby.
