How many kids DO NOT dress up for the Mickey's not so scary? We are going next week andI really do not feel like packing their costumes, but i don't wan them to feel out of place either

Hi, Jennifer! I would venture a guess that most of the kids wear some sort of costume. I have gone every year since my oldest daughter was about five, and I don't think there are more than a handful of kids not in costume.
You don't need to pack them anything special! You can pack the way you would normally, and adapt something for them to wear in a costume fashion. Put then in shorts and a loud shirt, then smear sunscreen on their noses, and they can go as Florida tourists. Add a pith helmet to khaki shorts and a khaki shirt, and you've got an adventurer's costume. You can even get the pith helmet at Animal Kingdom, so you don't have to bring it from home. You'll find a lot of stores now carry costume headbands, so you could choose a cat set, then put someone in black shorts and a black t-shirt, and use your make up to paint on whiskers.
Another option is to purchase the costumes once you arrive at Walt Disney World. You'll find princesses, pirates, and pixies among the costumes available. If you don't want to pack them to take them home, consider donating them to Give Kids the World, a local organization that provides accommodations for seriously ill children and their families on "wish" trips to Walt Disney World.
The party is great fun, and my children love the trick or treating! I hope you have a wonderful time!
