Can you take bottled water into the theme parks? I am on a budget and don't care to spend a lot for water.

We always start our day off with our own bottled water. While you will have to pass through security and have your bags checked, they are not the food/beverage police (unless it's in a glass container). Many people also bring in their own food for budget and dietary reasons.
The fridges in the moderate and deluxe hotels do not have freezers. But here's a tip: turn the setting to the coldest and you'll likely have frozen water in the morning. By the time you get to the park on a hot day, you'll have pleasantly cold water to keep you hydrated.
We do not refill our water bottles due to disliking the taste of the water in Orlando. My son loves water and drinks a lot of it. I don't know if it's weird coincidence but he's been very sick after drinking lots of tap water in U.S. locations away from home. So we just don't chance it any more. Also, if you have a family member that doesn't like water, consider bringing flavor packets that are easy to carry in single size servings.
I want you to also know about a wonderful thing called FREE water. If you find yourself thirsty and your water bottle is empty, head to the nearest counter service restaurant. Keep your $2 in your pocket that you would spend at the vendor carts, and order an ice cold cup of water. It's free at counter service restaurants such as Cosmic Ray's in the Magic Kingdom.
There's nothing like quenching your thirst which I think I'm going to go do right now. Stay hydrated!
