Question what is the average cost on quick serve meals in the parks (hambuger and frys)and which hotel is better to stay at looking at port orlens river side also all star music resort and can there be pizza delivery from outside of park

- Asked by scott from GA on 1/14/2012
Answer Hi Scott,

I've been working on the budget for a school trip this coming spring so I know what quick service meals cost throughout the Disney theme parks.  If you budget $15 per adult meal and $10 per kid's meal, that should comfortably cover a quick service meal.  If you bring your own beverages into the parks, you can drop that price by another $3 per person.

With regard to the resort where you'll stay, Disney's All Star Music Resort is an incredibly cost effective choice.  It's colorful, fun, and has a memorable larger-than-life decor.  But if you're looking for a pool with more features, then I'd book your room at Disney's Port Orleans Resort Riverside.  Ol' Man Island is a pretty incredible place to swim if you have water lovers in your travel party.

As Disney resort guests, you are welcome to have outside vendors deliver pizza to you.  Ask Guest Services at your resort for recommendations.  Don't order from fliers placed under your resort room door.  There have been disreputable individuals who place fake ads under guests' doors in order to acquire credit card information.  It's far better to rely on the recommendations of the Disney staff.

Have an amazing trip!

Jill
