Question I saw a video on Living with the Land at Epcot and it mentioned the vegtables that are grown there go to the restaurants at DW does it only provide to the restraunts at Epcot or thru out the whole 4 park restaurants? I think this is awesome

- Asked by Sheri from TX on 4/8/2012
Answer Hi Sheri, To the best of my knowledge, the crops grown at the Land Pavilion at Epcot go to either the restaurants at Epcot, or if the crop is not suitable for the restaurants, it may be sent over to the animals at the Animal Kingdom. Several times when I've dined at the Garden Grill restaurant in the Land pavilion, my server has pointed out the specific veggies that were grown at the attraction right below us. Super cool! If you're interested in the Land, you may want to take the Behind the Seeds backstage tour. This is one of the least expensive tours on property, less than $20, and it is child friendly. Behind the Seeds allows you to walk through the crop area of the pavilion with an agriculturalist and learn about their plant care methodology. You'll also get to feed some of the fish farmed there and sample some of the crops. I did this tour with my entire family. We loved it so much that we went back to do it again the following year. I hope you get an opportunity to try it!
