Hello Diane! Thank you so much for the advice on hotels, decorations and the photos which I was really interested on. I would love to hear about the dinning experiences like you mentioned.

Hi Stephanie! Thanks for writing back so I may continue my answer! For dining, we selected some fun venues - 50's Prime Time Cafe for lunch and Whispering Canyon for dinner. When checking in for both, I mentioned the girls were celebrating a sweet 16 and to lay on the antics...the more fun the better!
For her actual birthday, we chose the Garden Grill as my daughter's favorite characters are Chip and Dale and this is where you can find them. I also contacted the Cake Hotline (407-827-2253) a week or so before my vacation to order a Chip and Dale themed birthday cake to be delivered for dessert.
We also made a reservation for 8:15 a.m. at Crystal Palace on a day when Magic Kingdom opened at 9:00. This allowed us to enter the park early and take some fantastic pictures in front of Cinderella Castle with no other guests in the background. The girls were dressed alike (jean shorts, a Mickey tank top and of course, Mickey ears) which made the pictures extra special. We asked the photographer to shoot some "magical shots" and those came out well also.
The girls had a blast at each and every venue but if I were to do it again, I would cut back on one of the reservations as it seemed like too much food for the girls. They were stuffed! I probably would cut out Garden Grill and see the chipmunks instead at the Chip 'N Dale Campfire sing-a-long.
If you plan on interacting with the characters, an idea I had that worked out well was I purchased a Sweet 16 autograph pillow (if you do an internet search, it's the white oval pillow with a pink 16 in the middle - I got mine on eBay) and we had the characters sign it - awesome souvenir!
Well that's what I did in a nutshell. Please feel free to ask me any follow-up questions you may have. I'm happy to help you plan your special celebration!
