We may go on a Disney cruise to the Bahamas. I have 4 daughters aged 13, 13, 15, 17. Please tell me what engaging activities there are for them. Please suggest a typical day for them. One of the daughters has Rett syndrome. What wil she do? THanx!

Your girls will be able to enjoy Edge (ages 11-13) and Vibe (14-17). If your 13 year olds are close to 14, they may be able to move up to Edge so the girls can be together. There are counselors in each youth space so your daughter with Rett Syndrome can certainly spend time with her sisters if possible. Also, both Edge and Vibe offer Open House hours in which the areas are open to Guests of all ages to experience the spaces and programming as a family in the Oceaneer Club, Lab, Edge and/or Vibe. Your daily cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator will list the Open House times as well as all the ship's happenings throughout your voyage. The newsletter is delivered the night before so having it early will give you and your girls plenty of time to pick out your activities for the next day. The teen spaces open up about 10:00 each morning and don't close until around 1:00 a.m. I definitely recommend the girls visit the clubs on the first evening for icebreakers because this is the perfect time for them to meet the counselors and make new friends! Typical activities include Gender Wars, Ice Cream Socials, Smoothie Hour, Sports Deck fun, Chill Time, teen-only time at the pool and AquaDuck, trivia, and much more! When the girls aren't in the club, they can enjoy the AquaDuck and Donald Pool. There's a sports deck with mini-golf, foosball, ping pong, and basketball. If they enjoy pampering, a treatment at the Chill Spa is a possibility! First run movies are shown, game shows and karaoke is offered and the nightly entertainment is not to be missed! Character meet and greets are sprinkled throughout the day so take advantage of short lines and your Disney favorites while onboard! I'm about out of room, but my final suggestion is the Midship Detective Agency which is a fun, interactive game for Guests of all ages!
I hope my answer is helpful, Lorre! Please write back if I can assist you further!
