We are planning to go on the Italy ABD tour. There are 4 of us - including a 5 yo and a 10 yo. What are the hotel accomodations like for a family of 4 with young children (i.e. 1 king w/ two twins or 2 queens; 1 room vs 2 rooms; adjoining rooms?)?

Hello Eileen! You have booked an amazing itinerary with Adventures by Disney
! Prepare to have the trip of a lifetime! Hotels in Europe tend to be on the smaller side, so rooms with enough beds for 4 guests are rare. Here is the official statement on the Adventures by Disney
website regarding the Italy Family Vacation:
Parties of four booked as a quad: In Rome and Tuscany, quads are accommodated in two rooms, each having either two twin beds or one queen bed. Connecting rooms may be requested in Rome and Tuscany, but are subject to availability. In Venice, quads are accommodated in two adjoining rooms, each with either one queen bed or two twin beds. Parties of four booked as two doubles are accommodated in two rooms, each having either two twin beds or one queen bed.
It sounds like your family will have two rooms, which should give you lots of space! If I were you, since your children are so young, you should contact Adventures by Disney
and speak to a Vacationista about requesting connecting rooms for Rome and Tuscany. They can be reached at 800-543-0865. They will do their very best to fulfill your requests. And I have found it doesn't hurt to re-iterate your request with the Adventure Guides when you arrive in Italy.
Eileen, please don't hesitate to write me back with any other questions you have before your Italy Family Vacation with Adventures by Disney
! I would be happy to help you!
