Welcome aboard, Gary! Your family is in for such fun onboard the Disney Fantasy, especially your two children who are at perfect ages to enjoy the special events onboard!
I'm really happy to hear that you will be sneaking away with your wife to enjoy one of the amazing Adult Exclusive restaurants
on the Disney Fantasy. Both Palo and Remy are wonderful, romantic spots to enjoy decadent courses prepared by Disney Cruise Line's chefs. My husband and I never miss an opportunity to dine in one of those spots. Just a hint: Be sure to book your reservation early to ensure you get the time and date you'd like. As a first time cruiser, you can begin your online check in 75 days prior to sailing. It is there that you will also be able to choose your Cruise Activities like Adult Exclusive Dining, Nursery Time for your son, and Port Adventures.
While you're dining at Palo or Remy, your children can have fun with other kids and the great counselors in the Youth Clubs
. Your son will need reservations for It's A Small World Nursery since he's just a bit too young to join his sister in the Oceaneer Club and Lab. That being said, if he is very close to three and is completely potty-trained, you can chat with the Oceaneer Club counselors about him taking part in the fun there. When kids are completely potty-trained and almost at the age limit, they are usually happy to allow them to join in. But if not, he'll certainly enjoy his time in the nursery.
Your daughter will love the activities in the Club and Lab and you might even find that it's hard to get her to leave, she'll be having so much fun!
I hope that helps as you continue to plan. Let me know if you have other questions before you set sail, Gary! Happy planning!
