I am considering a cruise on the Disney Wonder. My daughter will be 2 years, 8 months at the time of sailing. She has been potty trained since her 2nd birthday. Can she participate in the Oceaneer Club, and can I confirm her participation in advance?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The Disney Wonder is a fantastic choice for your family's upcoming vacation! You have an excellent question, and I'll be happy to provide you with information that I hope will help you with your decision. The youth staff does an incredible job of providing a safe, entertaining and imaginative environment for children ages 3 to 12. If your daughter is potty-trained and comfortable visiting the youth spaces the staff is usually very accommodating in letting children close to three participate. Since your little one is two, the computer system will not let her pre-register prior to your sailing. You will need to stop by the Oceaneer Club on the first afternoon of your cruise to discuss your daughter's attendance with the youth counselors. My niece was a similar age to your daughter on my family's first Disney Cruise. She was also potty-trained and enjoyed the youth programming for the entire sailing.
I hope I've helped with your decision, Christina! Please stop by the the Moms Panel as you continue to plan for your magical voyage!
Have a wonderful day!
