There is a shuttle bus that runs from the Transportation and Ticket Center (TT&C), which is located on the Magic Kingdom monorail line. So from Bay Lake Tower, you would walk over to the Contemporary Resort and catch the monorail to the TT&C. I do know that visitors are welcome at the Richard Petty Driving Experience and pit entry was free the last time I was there. You can get more information by calling 1-800-BE-PETTY or via their official website
You can get more information on the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex at Walt Disney World here
. You can go to that website and see what events are planned when. You can then see if an event you are interested in watching overlaps your stay at Walt Disney World. Watching the events there are a lot of fun; however, I don't recommend going over if there's nothing go on that interests you. There isn't that much to do there if you are not interested in the particular sporting event happening!
Have a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation and write back if you have any more questions!
