We are regular visitors to Disney World. I would like to find something unique/different to experience this time. One year they decorated our room to the hilt complete with mickey hands, streamers, confetti, gifts, etc. What are some other ideas?

Hi Stephanie! I know exactly how you feel! I like to try and find something new and fresh for my family on each visit to Walt Disney World. That can be a challenge when you visit often, but there are many things you can do to make it a new experience every time.
You don't mention how many, or the ages of your family, so I'm going to have to guess a little bit. Have you ever thought of taking a 'behind-the'scenes' tour? Walt Disney World offers many fun and interesting options. The Wild Africa Trek
at Disney's Animal Kingdom has been a recent highlight for my family, and the Keys to the Kingdom tour that we just did was also really fun. If you check the Disney Parks Events and Tours
web page, you can see a list of current offerings to find something that would suit your family's ages and interests.
The resorts that have a marina, offer boat rentals, or fishing excursions and you can also book a parasailing adventure, tubing, wake-boarding or personal watercraft rentals at Sammy Duvall's Watersports Centre at Disney's Contemporary Resort
You already know the magic that Disney Floral and Gifts
can make when decorating your room -perhaps this time you'd like to have them custom make a welcome basket with items to suit each member of your family? The can tailor it to fit your budget, creating a very special surprise to start your vacation off with a bang. They have an extensive list of ideas on their website!
If you'd like 'age-specific' ideas, please write me back giving me a few more details, and I would be more than happy to help you out! I wish you and your family a very fun and magical vacation!
