We are going on our 1st Disney Cruise in the spring. In the kids Club, do the kids stay in there the whole time until a parent picks them up? If they are allowed to leave can we request they are not allowed to leave? Have 3yrs-6yrs olds. Thanks!

Welcome aboard, Amy! Your family is in for so much fun on your Disney cruise next spring! The Youth Clubs
, in particular, are absolutely amazing on the ships! My husband and I have a hard time getting our kiddos to leave the clubs, as they love to be there for the exciting events!
Your children are both at the ages to enjoy both the Oceaneer Club and the Oceaneer Lab, which are for kids aged three to 12. You can pre-register them for the Youth Clubs when you log into your reservation 75 days prior to sailing to begin your Online Check-In. You'll enter their information and create a password which will be used to check the children out of the clubs.
Once you arrive at the port, each child will get a Mickey Band which allows them entrance into the Oceaneer Club and Lab. When you drop the kids off at the clubs, a counselor will scan their band to check them in. The programming in the clubs is secure and the kids cannot leave without a parent at your kids' age. If they want to leave before you come back for them, they can simply let a counselor know. The counselor can contact you via your Wave Phone. Each stateroom receives two Wave Phones for use on the ship. These are like cell phones that can call and text on the ship and at Castaway Cay.
You can absolutely feel secure leaving your little ones with the counselors in the clubs. They really encourage the kids to have fun and participate in all the fun activities each day. They can easily contact you if your kiddos need you, and you can rest assured that your kids are having so much fun while you sneak away for some adult time, Amy! Then, when you arrive to pick them up, you'll present your Key To The World card and give your password to check them out.
Let me know if I can help with any other questions as you continue to plan!
