« back to Disneyland – Multi-Day Visits
My husband and I will be staying at the grand Californian 3 nights (feb. 3,4,&5, 2014). We will arrive Feb. 3 around 5 pm and will be leaving around 11am on Feb 5. What are your suggestions as far as how we can make the most of the time we will have?

I’m glad you’re planning a vacation to the Disneyland Resort, and February is a wonderful month to visit. Crowds tend to be lighter and the weather is typically mild that time of year. Check out the attractions list and entertainment schedule online before arriving so you can plan your days based on your list of must-dos! FASTPASS is a great tool to help you spend more time enjoying attractions and less time waiting in line, so take advantage of it.
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa exemplifies the Craftsman-style era with its grand architecture and décor, it’s the closest to the theme parks, and it features a private entrance into Disney California Adventure Park. You’ll never have to leave the magic and be you’ll be entitled to Extra Magic Hours to help you make the most of your time in the parks. You can participate in a variety of special experiences as a hotel guest, such as seasonal outdoor pilates or an early-morning power walk through Disney California Adventure Park.
You don’t need dining reservations for every meal, as there are many quick-service dining options throughout the resort. However, if you plan to enjoy any table-service meals at restaurants like Blue Bayou, Napa Rose or Carthay Circle Restaurant, I do recommend you make reservations, which can be made up to 60 days in advance by calling (714) 781-DINE (3463). If you book a World of Color Dining Package, not only will you get a delicious meal in an elegant setting, but you’ll also be guaranteed one of the best spots available for Disney California Adventure Park’s must-see nighttime water spectacular!
I hope this helps, Rose. Please write back with more questions as your pixie-dusted planning continues!
Wishing you magic,
