What is the cancellation policy for Cinderella's Royal Table? If we make reservations and pre-pay and have to cancel for any reason, will our card be refunded? How much in advance do you need to cancel if you cannot make it for some reason?

Dining at Cinderella's Royal Table
is truly a memorable experience; in fact, it's so popular that this is one reservation that is often difficult for Guests to book. Advanced Dining Reservations may be made up to 180 days in advance, so if CRT is really important to you, book that reservation as soon as you think you know which day you'd like to dine in Cinderella Castle.
According to a Frequently Asked Question on Walt Disney World's website (enter "dining cancellation policy" in the search bar on the link above), if plans change and you need to cancel (it happens) you can either cancel your dining reservation online or by calling Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE up to 11:59 PM Eastern Time on the day before
your arrival. In this case, the Credit Card Advance Payment which was charged to your credit card at the time of booking will be refunded in full if you follow the guidelines previously stated.
I called Disney Dining on your behalf to confirm the timing
of this refund and was told that it typically takes 3-5 business days for the refund to be processed. As such, that refund may be placed into your current
billing cycle or the next
month's, depending on when your particular cycle's cutoff date occurs.
