Turning 50 & going to disney the first time as adults, where should we stay and what should we see? We'll be going for a long weekend in March

A very happy birthday to you, Maggie!
What a great way to celebrate your big 5-0, too, with a trip to Walt Disney World!
My husband and I have been visiting WDW without our kids (shhh!) for a few years now, and one of my favorite places to do so is at a Disney's BoardWalk
resort hotel. There, Guests can enjoy all of the nighttime entertainment that the BoardWalk has to offer, PLUS take advantage of the easy access to Epcot. Check out Disney's Yacht Club Resort
, Disney's Beach Club Resort
and Disney's BoardWalk Inn
to find a favorite.
Plan on spending a full day in each park, with the exception of Disney's Animal Kingdom Park; you can spend a long morning there, then head to Downtown Disney
for an afternoon of shopping and dining. (No ticket required for DD.) If you have the Park Hopper Option, you can head to a different park in the afternoon which is especially convenient if you'd like to take another look at one of the fantastic nighttime entertainment options they have to offer. (Don't miss Magic Kingdom's Celebrate the Magic, Main Street Electrical Parade and Wishes nighttime spectacular, Epcot's IllumiNations and Disney's Hollywood Studios' Fantasmic! All of these spectacles will wow you...definitely not to be missed.
If you'd like park-specific or dining tips, send another question including your likes and dislikes; we'd be happy to help make this birthday weekend super-special...just for you! :-)
