We'll be traveling to WDW this Nov w/7 (mom, dad, 2 kids, 2 gmas and 1 gpa) First time ever to WDW for 2 of the gparents. They are both in their very late 60's and gpa a Vietnam vet. Anything we should tell someone to make their trip extra special?

Hi Traci! You must be so excited about bringing the grandparents to Walt Disney World for the first time. There is nothing more magical then to see their reactions to all the wonderful things in the parks and resorts.
You mentioned that the grandfather is a vet. I suggest when you enter the Magic Kingdom park on a day you are visiting you check to see if he can participate in the flag lowering or raising that day. It takes place in the town square and is very moving. They love to have the assistance of one of our great veterans. I surprised my father with this on his last visit ever and I will always remember the pictures of his pride in that flag.
Beyond that make sure you get 1st Visit buttons at any Guest Service location in the parks or at your resort hotel. Cast members will welcome them throughout the day.
You might also consider ordering something special for their room through the Disney florist. You can check out some of the options on line at www.disneyflorist.com.
There are many ways to add magic to your trip. The Magic Kingdom dessert party is a special way to honor the whole family or perhaps a Fireworks cruise. I think they will love every minute of each day just being able to be together with the family and watch the Disney magic through the eyes of the children!
