« back to Epcot
We are taking our two daughters ages 8 and 6 to DW Oct 3-11. Any tips or new experiences we need to make sure we do while at Epcot? We've done Epcot before, but didn't really enjoy as much as the other parks so any suggestions are welcomed! Thanks!

I'm back and I'm looking forward to giving you some awesome ideas for how to make the most of your time at Epcot!
Since I've already spilled the beans about my love for the food at Walt Disney World, I'm going to avoid the obvious experiences that you might expect me to talk about: (1) The restaurants around the World Showcase promenade; and (2) The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.
Instead, let me highlight three other types of experiences that your family may enjoy:
#1 - Thrill Rides
In seeing the ages of your children, they might be ready to hit some of the higher-intensity attractions (e.g. Test Track, Soarin', or Mission: SPACE).
Note: There are two levels of intensity at Mission: SPACE. It might make sense to start out with the easier one (Green Team) and see how it goes from there. The Orange Team version is out of the world! (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)
#2 - Experiential Learning
The exhibits in the INNOVENTIONS East and INNOVENTIONS West pavilions offer a number of hands-on experiences that are not only fun, but educational as well.
#3 - Go Undercover as a Secret Agent
If your children are fans of Phineas and Ferb, then they'll love Agent P's World Showcase Adventure! This will be a fun (shhhhh.....and educational) way for them to explore the various World Showcase pavilions.
Here's a bonus tip from your buddy Derek:
Since we seem to have a running theme with experiences that have educational undertones, I think every child should have the opportunity to see The American Adventure at Epcot. I think it's tremendously inspirational and should instill a sense of pride in the accomplishments of our country's historical figures.
I hope that helps!!
