Thank you for answering my question about rider switch and FP+. If I reserve R & R at HS for my husband, then I would just need the rider switch and would not have to reserve R & R as one of my 3 rides for that park? Thank you!

Hello again Connie!
From my personal experience, both riders must wait in line to receive a Rider Switch Pass
. So both riders must wait in the regular line or the FastPass line together. Since the Rider Switch Pass works as a FastPass, getting a Rider Switch Pass will make no difference once the second rider has a FastPass.
Still, you can try it with only 1 FastPass+ and see if the Disney Cast Member at the FastPass entrance allows the first rider through the FastPass line. I cannot assure you that this will work, but it may.
Walt Disney World is a place for kids and the Rider Switch Service is a great way to help parents with babies or young children enjoy their vacation to the fullest - while the kids stay relaxed and rested.
Thank you for visiting and letting us help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
Hope to hear again from you.
