My daughter age 15 is going to the Diving Quest in Epcot I was wondering what she is going to experience, what do they do?

This is an amazing and unique experience that I think any "Certified Diver" would appreciate. Unfortunately, I am not SCUBA certified and therefor could not participate. I have Snorkeled in "Turks and Caicos" (with "wild" Dolphins, Barracudas, Sharks, etc...) and what a wonderful experience that was...so I can only imagine what this would be like. I did however speak with many cast members and Divers about this program and all recommend it very highly.
I am sure that if your daughter is used to diving, then this is a "no miss" opportunity for her. All gear is provided here, although she can bring her own mask if she likes,(sometimes people have prescription masks or are just more comfortable using their own). You will start by meeting the "Dive Masters" who will run through all of the techniques and information needed to make this dive, as well as sign a waiver (of course). Family is allowed to come and view, and even though she may not bring a camera, you certainly can take video or pictures of her from the "observation deck". There are photographers "on hand" as well for people who wish to buy this footage after the dive.
She will have to view a short video of this experience and learn some facts about the "protected" marine life they will be seeing as well as being reminded not to touch the fish! They may touch her, but she may not touch them. A little tip: If she hides her hands under her chest when a Ray approaches, they are very curious and will likely stick around to see what she may be hiding. The actual in-water part of this dive lasts approximately 40 minutes, which seems to go by very fast I have heard, so tell her to enjoy every underwater moment she has. Please visit this link
for additional information and tell her to have an unbelievable time!
