We have two girls, almost 7 and 5. What would you recommend is a good Adventures by Disney "starter" trip, and at what ages would you recommend we go? Would prefer to remain domestic for the 1st one. Thanks!

Doug, I like the way you already concede you will be taking multiple Adventures by Disney trips before you have even experienced your first one!
Though I am now ABD's biggest cheerleader, I was hesitant to try traveling with a tour so my family experimented with a one week starter trip to Costa Rica. We chose this destination based on the short flying time to Central America and the desire to see monkeys and sloths in the rainforest. Consider similar criteria to pick your domestic destination. How far are you willing to travel and what are your family's interests?
Are your girls horse crazy? Try Quest for the West. Is the Grand Canyon on your bucket list? Consider Cowboys and Canyons. Is your wife a history buff? Head east for the Spirit of America. Can't get enough Disney? Then Backstage Magic is for your family. Each of these trips will provide unique experiences, amazing Adventure Guides, plenty of fabulous food, and all details will be taken care of with the Disney difference. Unlike most of life's choices, you actually can't make a wrong decision when picking an Adventures by Disney vacation.
Your daughters are a great age to go on an AbD trip. They are old enough to absorb the experience and young enough to enjoy the wonder. Our youngest was six on our first adventure and loved every aspect. We just returned from a trip to Greece with ABD and the youngest member in our group, a four year old, possibly had the best time of anyone.
