at castaway clay what are the best things for girls 9 - 11 to do? The two water play areas... is it always crowded, is there lineups? Also on the fantasy the aqua duck looks amazing. can we expect long wait lines like those for popular rides at Disney?

Welcome aboard, Lisa! Castaway Cay is one of my favorite beaches in the entire world, and once you're there and get to partake in all of the fun it offers, you'll see why!
Your girls will have so much to keep them busy all day on Disney's private island. Pelican Plunge is an exciting floating dock with two waterslides and a bucket of water dumping on guests every few minutes! Guests need to swim out to the dock (lifejackets are available if you'd like), and choose between the open top fast slide or the closed, dark, even faster slide! Try them both! My son loves Pelican Plunge, as he is very much an adventure seeking child! You may encounter a short line to ride, but it will be worth the wait.
Scuttle's Cove is the Youth Club on the island where your girls can join the same counselors from the Oceaneer Club and Lab from the ship for some wet and wild kids-only fun! Different activities are planned there all day long.
Spring-A-Leak is a splash area that your girls can enjoy. It usually isn't too crowded, as people come and go, but guests do love to cool off with their kids there!
The AquaDuck is such a thrilling ride on the Fantasy. Do expect to wait in a line for a ride on that one-of-a-kind watercoaster. If you aren't getting off at a particular port, that would be the day to ride the AquaDuck over and over, while other guests are out exploring, as lines are much shorter then. Alternatively, bring your swimsuits in your carry-on bag and head directly there as you board the ship on embarkation day, and you'll get to experience the ride without so much of a wait.
Let me know how else I can help before you set sail, Lisa!
