We are so excited about our trip the end of October! We are taking my daughter who has multiple disabilities including autism and epilepsy. Will there be strobe lights at the Mickey Halloween party? Also, will she be able to get a GAC? How do we get it?

Your trip is just around the corner. You and your family must be getting so excited! When you arrive at the first park of your vacation, you will want to visit Guest Relations. Explain your daughter's needs and they can tell you about the Disability Access Card. This card will allow you to wait outside the main queue until it is your time for the attraction. When it is your time, you can zoom through the FastPass line with little wait time. Your pass will be valid for up to a week so you will not have to get a new card each day.
As far as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, you will see lights with an orange glow along with smoke machines, mostly at the main entrance and along Main Street. The Villains will have a Castle Stage Show a few times during the night, and this will have blasts of bright fireworks, lights, and possibly some strobe light effects. Most of the park, however, will have normal lighting. If lighting is an issue, you may want to ask a Cast Member (at the entrance of any attraction queue) if there are strobe lights as some attractions do use them as a special effect. During fireworks, you may want to pop into a fun gift shop or a nice long attraction like it's a small world and miss them altogether (a trick I learned when my kids were little!)
Wishing you a magical vacation and very Happy Halloween.
